角度差 120度のアスペクト・トラインを「吉相」とし、その半分の角度差60度のアスペクト・セクスタイル
を「半吉」とする考え方がありました。中世期にはトラインを物質的な利益として、セクスタイルを精神的
利得とする考えがありましたが、現在の占星学では、セクスタイルはＹ字形のヨードを形成するので非常に
危険であるという考え方が主流になりました。
There was a school of astrology where the effect of aspect in sixty degrees or the aspect
sextile connotes the half amount of good fortune of the trine aspect predicted. In the era
of medieval ages, astrologers have judged the aspect sextile was good for spiritual gain
while the aspect trine was good for material gain obtained. Such book of astrology on
the aspect of sextile encounters now the most dangerous occasion with the aspect YOD
or Y shaped formation.
ウイリアム・リリー(1602-1681)がホーラリーの技術を研究しました。ホーラリーの占いでは、アスペクトの
セクスタイル(角度差60度)は精神的な安定を表現するアスペクトとして有効です。しかし、ホーラリー占い
の有効期間は占いをした日から三ヶ月以内の短期の変化です。(応用・占星学入門・平河出版社刊参照)
出生図の有効期間は人物の一生だけでなく人物の死後の影響までも表現する長期になりますから、Ｙ字形の
ヨードのように宿命的な変化を表現するアスペクトを無視できません。アスペクト・セクスタイルが人間の
精神的な安定を表現するとしても、生きているあいだの一時的な安心や自己満足を表現するだけですから、
本質的なものを表現していません。
HORARY technique in astrology was studied by William Lilly (1602-1681). In this, the
aspect sextile or sixty degrees angular difference is effective to predict a spiritual easiness.
However, the period of effectiveness for the prediction made by HORARY must be short as
only three months after the time of prediction placed by the technique of HORARY. See the
description of my book, OUYOU-SENSEIGAKU-NYUUMON published by HIRAKAWA
SHUPPAN released. On the other hand, the period of effectiveness for the prediction
made by a birth chart is life long for the person and it will also indicates something after
the death of principal passed. It is an actual case that the aspect sextile indicates the
easiness of human in the art of prediction, however, such easiness is often a momentary
self satisfaction connoted. Y shaped YOD, on the other hand, is vital. It is the common
practice that the vital matter will be studied in the birth chart of the principal person.
図のＡ点とＢ点の角度差が60度のアスペクト・
セクスタイルを形成したときに、Ｃ点に天体が
あればＹ字形のヨードができます。なお、Ａと
Ｃ，ＢとＣのあいだは150度のクインカンクス・
アスペクトになります。
ＡＢの中間のＤ点に天体が存在する場合には
変形ヨードになります。
ＡＤもＤＢも30度です。
In the illustration right, the point
A and B forms sextile aspect on the
60 degrees span. YOD is formed at
either C, or D when any astrological
element comes.
The angle of 150 degrees is called
quincunx aspect.
The point D is midpoint of A and B.
