天体位置を表示する方法は関係者の意見の相違で世界的に長い年月に亘って大きな混乱を招いています。
まず、天文学者の混乱があります。世界の大多数の天文学者は遠方の固定星の観測を仕事にしています。
惑星などの動く天体の軌道計算を専門にしている天文学者は非常に小数の人々です。ですから、たとえば
小惑星の発見などに日本人のアマチユアー天文学家たちが名前を連ねることが出来るのです。
インターネットで簡単にアクセスできる米国の天文学用の暦がありますが、この暦の値は現在のところ
西暦2000年の春分点を固定した値〈部分的なトロピカル暦〉です。おそらく、2025年までは、春分点を
固定するでしょう。これに対して、占星学の天文暦は常に移動をする春分点で計算をした年月日時刻を
使用した厳密な計算をしたトロピカル暦(春分点移動暦）です。多くの天文学者が遠方の固定星に関心があるので、春分点を
数十年間も固定をしても困らないのに対して、占星学の関係者は天空を動き回る多数の天体に興味があるので、
完全な形態のトロピカル方式の暦(春分点移動暦）を作成して使用しているのです。
次に大きな問題はサイデリアル方式の暦の存在です。インド式の占星学や、欧米の一部の占星学研究者に
信奉者が存在していて、しかも数種類の異なる形式を別個に主張して統一が取れない
サイデリアル形式の暦
の存在は占星学の統一した議論を困難にしています。
現在の世界の大多数の占星学の人々が使用している天体暦はトロピカル方式
の暦(春分点移動暦）ですが、これは
赤道（トロピカル・ライン）を通過する線上の春分点を基準にした暦という意味です。今から約2500年前の
紀元前134年に古代ギリシャのヒッパルコスが当時の春分点を「おひつじ」の零度に定めて、30度刻みの
12 個のサイン（星座ではないが星座名を付けた架空の区分）で天体を記録した暦を基準にして、歳差運動
による春分点の変化を考慮した現在の「おひつじ」の零度の位置を定めてから天体位置を計算した暦です。
これに対抗したサイデリアル方式の暦は、春分点の位置を古代の特定な時期に固定しようとするものですが、理想的なサイデリアル方式の暦の実現が困難なために、通常のトロピカル方式の暦(春分点移動暦）の「おひつじ」の位置のみを古代の特定な時期に戻すものです。しかし、長い間にはこの値が歳差運動によってずれてきますから、約20年に一度くらいの間隔で計算を変更するというものです。
このように、サイデリアル方式の暦の形態はトロピカル方式の暦(春分点移動暦）なのですが、「おひつじ」の零度の場所
だけを、紀元前の「特定な場所」に戻して変更をしたものです。
サイデリアル方式の暦が主張する「おひつじ」零度の場所とトロピカル方式の暦(春分点移動暦）が主張する「おひつじ」零度の
場所の差をインド語でアヤナムサAYANAM-SHAといいますが、インド政府公認の値は23.2度です。 しかし、
世界中の研究者の各種の主張は19度から32度までの間の特定な数値で、「おひつじ」零度の場所を古代のどの時代の
春分点と一致させるかという研究者の主張によって、各種の暦が存在することになるのです。
トロピカル方式の暦(春分点移動暦）からアヤナムサの値を差し引くことによって、「おひつじ」の零度の場所が現実の星座の
牡羊座または牡牛座のいずれかの場所になりますが、12サインのすべての区分が現実の12星座と一致する
わけではありません。
ただ、約2500年前の古代ギリシャのヒッパルコスが歳差運動を発見した時期の論理的な
状況が再現できるはずであるという主張がアヤナムサの値を23度前後に選定するインドの研究者たちの主張であり、
古代エジプト時代と一致させようとする欧米の研究者たちの主張するアヤナムサの値が29度前後になるのです。
しかし、このような主張に従ったとしても、われわれが古代ギリシャやバビロニアやカルデアの人々、または
エジプトの人々が信じていたと主張する古代の占星学が再現できるというものではありません。
占いが的中するからという理由で、このような各種の暦が存在するわけですが、占星学の研究には非常に多数の
種類の法則が存在していますし、その法則を使用する占い者の技術的な熟練度や占い者自身の運勢によっても、
的中率が大幅に変化しますから、どの方式の暦が正しいという主張を証明する方法は存在していません。
インド式占星学のように、すべてのシステムをサイデリアル方式の暦で築き上げている「占い」と相違して、一部の
法則だけを古代に戻す場合には、関連するすべての法則を再検討しなければ公平な判断はできません。
結局は混乱を避けて占星学を取り扱う人々の好みに従うことになり、現在では、トロピカル方式の暦(春分点移動暦）が「天体暦」
として世界の人々に親しまれているのです。
サイデリアル方式の暦についての議論
The system of indication of the sky body has been discussed for years since the ancient. It has brought a
certain mess of world wide confusion debated.
First confusion is originated in the group of astronomers. As the most of astronomers are interested in
the observation of fixed stars, the students interesting in the orbital motion of a planet will not be a major
group of astronomers assembled. Thus we saw many amateur astronomers from Japan have registered their
names in the discoveries of minor planets in the past worked.
For instance, we can easily access with our computers on the program supplying the places of minor planets
that has been made for a student of astronomer. In it, we see the place of a planet referred to the fixed equator
and equinox of the year 2000 that is a standard reference for most astronomers preferred. They will probably
continue it use until 2025. But we astrologers like positions referred to the ecliptic and equinox of the date.
Although the most astronomers are satisfied with the momentary fixed equinox and equinox system, however,
we astrologers will only prefer to use the complete style of tropical system calendar for indicating many moving
bodes in the sky existed.
Next confusion indicating the place of a planet will be the sidereal type calendars. Indian style astrology,
or Hindu astrology has been compiled with the Sidereal type calendars and some of students of astrology have
been promoting their recommended systems with their preferred style of Sidereal type calendars debated.
Although the open discussion on the astrology bas been welcome, the system difference of calendars would
bring in confusions for open discussion related.
Nowadays astrologers world wide prefer to use the Tropical type calendar that is prepared on the basis of tropical line.
Grecian researcher Hipparchus has found the precession
and set the point of Vernal Equinox on the
tropical line to be the pint of zero degree Aries sign of the zodiac calculated. The Tropical type calendar is prepared on
the basis of changing point of Aries zero that is defined for the initiating point of zodiac settled.
The Sidereal type calendar is prepared on the fixed point of Aries zero in the zodiac. Arguments on the point of
Aries have brought many candidates for the Sidereal type calendars. AYANAM-SHA in Indian word connotes the
difference between the points of Aries in the Sidereal type calendar against that of the Tropical type calendar settled.
According to the government of India, the official value of AYANAM-SHA is 23.2 degrees. For it, there are several
values are proposed as ranging from 19 through 32 degrees in accordance with many students found in world wide.
The point of zero degree of Aries in zodiac can be set in a place found in either the constellation Aries or
Taurus by reducing the value of AYANAM-SHA from the places of planets indicated in Tropical type calendar.
This does not warrant us to look at the sky view imagined for a certain year in the ancient era expected.
The reason of selection of AYANAM-SHA for 23 degrees approximately will expect the ancient sky of the age
of some 2500 years ago in Greek when Hipparchus discovered the value of precession, and the point for 29 degrees
selected by the European astrologers will expect the ancient sky of old Egyptian empire. It is, however, impossible
for us to look at such view of ancient sky only by the system of the Sidereal type calendars.
One of the reasons of debating on a specific type of Sidereal concept would be the expectation of a nice fit in the
astrological prediction performed. As the rate of nice fit against current works of the fortune tellers will be greatly
depend on the personal skill of arts and the lucks of practitioners performed we can not give any definite judgment
on the type of calendars selected. Except for the system such as Indian type astrology that has been compiled the arts solely
on the Sidereal type calendars, we must look up detailed survey on the related rules of astrology that is expecting to employ
the Sidereal type calendar in place of conventional Tropical type system tentatively selected.
Thus by avoiding introduce further confusion, the most people will use the conventional Tropical type calendar.
