占いの研究者たちは特殊な業績を残した人物に焦点を当てて、他の通常人との間の違いを強調してきました。
社会的な環境の違いや、個人的な家庭状況の相違などを無視して、人物の特色だけを取り上げても同じよう
な成功が待っているわけではありませんが、占い商売の宣伝効果としては、ブランド志向の宣伝価値だけを
強調したほうが有利なのです。これに対し、アディーの研究態度は純粋に占星学が存在する理由を追及する
努力をしたのでした。
The most of researchers of astrology have selected a person of particular character with the
marked achievements and have stressed the distinguished difference found superior among
others. Human success in life must be affected very much on the condition either from social
or family environments. The particularity of a person is useful to demonstrate the point
of superiority of a brand title for the propaganda campaign, however, such may not give any
warrantee on the successful story of individual person studied. The research made by
Addey on the other hand, has aimed to explore the reason of basic reliability of the art
that to study the degree and extent of an effective influence given by a moving body or a
planet at birth moment of an individual selected.
通常の読者はどのような方法で占いをするかというハウツー形式に慣れていますから、アディーの研究発表
を理解しないのです。それで、詳細に内容を解説することにします。前ページの図で円は平均値を示します。
左の1095名の自然科学研究者の図では、三角形に近い形の実線の表示は1095名の出生時期の木星の位置を
各自のASCに位置に比べてどのくらい「ずれる」という値を記入したものです。他人を表現するDSCの近
くに三角形の頂点が存在していて突出部分が１個でなく３個存在するということは、DSC を中心にして、
概略120度の角度に出生木星の多数が存在していることを表現しています。 アディーによれば、３個の突出
部分が存在するということはトライン・アスペクトが持っている「よろこび」を表現しているというのです。
ですから、自然科学者の木星は「他人を喜ばせる」ということを本来の天体の存在価値としているのです。
Most readers will be accustomed to study the book on how to style of edition. As they are not
familiar to the Addey style of research, I will make a few comments on his works indicated
as follows: The circle in the illustrations shown in the previous page indicates the
average number of planet in study. As the study was made on the degree of shift on a certain
planet at birth moment plotted against the place of ASC or eastern horizon at birth, the
illustration in the left side in the previous page made on the 1095 scientists reveals a
marked increase of the number of planet Jupiter at birth near the place of DSC, or the place
to indicate the other person to the principal nominated. The increased place or the crest is
found in three places in making a triangle form that connotes the pleasure of aspect trine,
according to Addey released. Thus the planet Jupiter in 1095 scientists indicates the
preservation of others that should be the traits of the planet Jupiter originally expected.
前ページの図で円形は天体数の平均値を表現するのですが、円が大きいということは多数の例外の存在を
表現しています。アディーの研究の最も大きな特徴は多数の例外の存在を認めていることです。例外という
ものは研究目的の内容を表題のとおりには整理できない状況を表現します。占い商売の宣伝のためには例外
がない的中を宣伝したいのですが冷静な学問としての占星学には多数の例外が存在しているのです。占星学
の本当の存在価値は例外のない的中ではなくて「気まぐれでない」確実な的中です。学問的な例外を認めて、
例外の範囲を確定することが確実な的中を可能にするのです。
（注意：従来の占い方法の例外ではなくて、論理としての学問的な例外。）
The circle found in the illustrations in the previous page has indicated the average number of
planet in the view demonstrated. The large circle indicates many numbers of planets excluded.
As we see a circle in the large scale that we must admit many exceptional cases of samples.
Such samples are outside the classified categories defined. People of fortune telling business
might prefer the full of fits in the prediction business. True view of astrology will not be
the art to predict future with a caprice fits but requires a reasonable fit with an exception
of theoretical exclusion confirmed the region of application definitely settled. That should
be the style of research as Addey has been provided for years released.
たとえば、1095名の自然科学研究者の中から希望する法則に適合する人物を探して、その出生図を宣伝用に
使用して後輩を指導すれば多くの弟子を集めることが出来るでしょう。しかし、少数例の 
同じ人物は二度と現れないでしょうから、多くの人をだますだけの結果に終わることでしょう。
If an instructor has selected a few examples out of 1095 scientists studied and he uses
such examples for the propaganda to describe the lecture in his class room then it will help
the business of the school in a good profit gathered. It is however, seldom to expect the
similar case of such beautiful example that his lecture will only end by deceiving innocent
students that believed such small example.
