人物の出生時期に、東の地平線から上昇してくる12サインを観測して、その人物の一生の運勢を予測する
ことを記述した文献は西暦100年ころのトレミー（クラウディウス・プトレマイオス）のテトラビブロスが
最初です。しかし、ギリシャ語のホロスコープと言う言葉が「東から上昇してくる」という意味の言葉ですから、
占星学とともにアセンダントという観念がすでに古代に存在したのでしょう。
The specific description on the word ASCENDANT that indicated the future prospect predicted
by the zodiacs of the Eastern heaven of a person born was first appeared in the TETRABIBLOS
of Ptolemy or Claudius Ptolemaios in 100 AD released. As the Grecian HOROSCOPE connotes
rising indication in the Eastern heaven, therefore, we can imagine the possible establishment of
basic concept of ASCENDANT in the ancient age already explored.

が天体観測の目印の天空の番地として考え出した星座については、ギリシャのヒッパルコスが
紀元前134年ころに天体観測を正確に行う目的で、天空を30度ごとの12区分に分けることを提唱したために、
ギリシャ時代に大きな改革が行われたのですが、アセンダントについては、その後も十分な検討が行われずに
現代になりました。占いの結果だけに興味が集中した占星学の研究者たちは、法則の内容の研究をおろそかにして、
利用方法の開発に熱心でしたから、アセンダントの科学的な構造の検討には、長い間、無関心であったのです。
The constellation or the map of stars was invented by the ancient Sumerians
and it has been used to allocate
the moving planets in those days until Hipparchus
in Greek in about 134 BC has studied the whole sky with
twelve sectors each thirty degrees span divided. As for the ascendant, however, no detailed study was made
until the new studies of recent years explored.
As most astrologers have been busy in looking for the business, they have seldom studied the mechanism of ascendant in detail constructed.
多くのアセンダントの記録は観測しやすい固定星（恒星）を基準に記録してあります。
この場合に注意しなければならない問題は、占星学の法則がどのような根拠で人間生活に影響を
与えているのかという理由です。人間の目に付きやすい固定星が直接の原因であれば、その天体の現在の位置が
現在の占星学の法則に役に立ちますが、固定星の位置に人間の目に見えない他の星が存在して、その隠れた星が発するエネルギーが
占星学の法則の原因になっている場合には、現在の固定星はまったく無意味な存在になります。現代の占星学は
歴史的な由来がある多数の占星学法則の組み合わせで予測判断をしているのですが、それぞれの法則の力の関係は
定量的に研究されていません。ですから、占いが的中した過去の記録だけでは不十分なのです。
Most historical records of Ascendant have been referred to the places of fixed stars for evidence. Such could
be acceptable on the condition that the specific fixed star transmitted the specific origin of influence that
has placed the specific effect on earth detected. There could be another possibility of effect originated from
the hidden stars located far behind the said fixed star. In such occasion, the recorded historical place of the
fixed star in the past age would have no use in the modern age. As the modern astrology has been compiled
with many related laws of historically established, we cannot rely on them unless we can evaluate the power
of each law that has been evidenced by the record of nice fits in the previous prediction released.
