占星学に興味がある人ならば必ず目にするホロスコープが図形の形で描かれるようになったのは三世紀
のポフィリ以降のことです。それ以前の時代では、人物の出生時の天体を一覧表の形式で記録をしましたが、円形の
図形では書きませんでした。占星学の研究者は円形や四角形の図形の形式でなくても、特定の事柄が
地球上で発生した時期の天体位置が記録されていれば、ホロスコープと呼ぶことに定めていますので、
ホロスコープの歴史を研究する場合には、円形とか四角形の図形形式ではなくて、記載した内容が
研究の対象になっています。現存する世界最古のホロスコープはバビロニアで発見された粘土板に記載した
ギリシャ名の男性の出生記録です。
The horoscope of astrology has been defined in the form of list type for years before Porphyry in
the third century AD explored. Disregarding the types of description, the researchers of astrology
have defined any written information to be the horoscope that contains the places of planets at

ジャック・リンゼイ著書の占星学の起源が紹介した世界最古のホロスコープの記載は次のようなものです。
彼が生まれたときに、月はさそりの爪の下にあり、木星は「うお」にあり、金星は「おうし」にあり、
土星は「かに」にあり、火星は「ふたご」にあり、水星は西に没したばかりであり、その光は僅かに
見えていました。現在の発達したコンピュータで計算をしたところ、６個の天体の度数が不明であっても
天体の組み合わせが記載したようになる日時は過去六千年の間に一度だけ存在します。 そして、中近東の緯度経度
を考慮すれば、その場所は現在の地中海岸のハイファ（32N49, 34E59）であり、日時はジュリアン暦で、
紀元前410年 4月28日の現地時刻 16:38 になります。計算には紀元０年は存在しないとして計算しましたが、
紀元０年が存在すれば紀元前の年が１年異なります。また、ジュリアン暦を使用しないで、当時の現地暦を
使用すれば数日異なります。なお、当時は天秤座が存在しなかったので「さそりの爪」座と呼んでいました。

The calculation was set without introducing zero-year in the beginning of new century entered.
The calendar system of those days was not the Julian type that will give several days apart from
the above calculation suggested.
右上の図は粘土板の概略な記載を参照して想像上の円形のホロスコープを描いたものです。粘土板には太陽の
記録がありませんが、粘土板記載の六個の天体の星座の組み合わせをコンピュータで計算した結果として得た
４月28日の出生日から太陽は「おうし」に存在したことが明白なので、図では、合計七個の天体を記入しました。
ASC（東の地平線）の12「てんびん」51も計算で定めました。月の位置はコンピュータ計算で12「てんびん」38に
なりますから、月は第12ハウスに入居し、水星09「おひつじ」43と土星11「かに」12とＴ字形になります。
この人物が生まれたころのメソポタミアはペルシャ(今のイラン）の支配下にありましたが、この人物は歴史には出現しませんでした。また、ハウス分割が広く議論されるように
なったのは、この人物が生まれてから 500年以上も後のことです。
Above right view will be the imaginary horoscope with seven bodies that is prepared by the description in the
brief indication of simple list of six sky bodies that were roughly written on the clay plate found.
The places of Sun and ASC are written after the calculation of computer. Tight T square between
Moon, Mercury and Saturn is noted as the further note of this person had not been found in
the history registered. It was almost five hundred years after this birth when we saw the studies on
the house divisions in the art of astrology explored.
