Addey has particularly pointed out the zero degree of mutable signs in his fifth harmonic chart. He has studied
the charts of many students of astrology who’s Moon, Saturn and Uranus forms the convergence on zero degree of
mutable signs for researchers of astrology and the convergence on zero degree of cardinal sign for practitioner of
astrology found.
On the other hand, Addey has studied FEAW, fire, earth, air and water triangle
without considering the convergence on zero degree evaluated. As he died suddenly, we can only assume that he
was just waiting for another chance that people in his land would come to recognize his original idea explored.
I only assume that he might be confused for the fact that only few students have come to meet his choice of selection
in the research of astrology but some one has described the conventional analysis of aspect degrees in opposition to
the original idea of convergence of Addey developed.
Rules and conventions are settled for the convenience of human related activities. For instance in the sports, the
general rule of the baseball games will be the diamond arrangement of bases. No exception on the right side base
for the first base and the left side base for the third base settled. There are many kinds of sub rules or the ground
rules that are settled specific for each baseball ground selected. It is well known that a
few numbers of rules for the soccer games and the huge numbers of rules for the baseball games existed. In the
practice of astrology, we see each specific ground rule for each harmonic number of Addey’s chart besides the
general rules for the western astrology. We should not mix up this matter with the general exception item found
in each astrological rule settled. Careful explanation with a logical concept will be required in the discussion other
than an easy story of the evidence of empirical fit result obtained in the astrological prediction performed.
One of the major projects for the harmonics in astrology made by John M. Addey will provide a new tool to replace
the use of conventional house system that is left from the logical explanation in astrology lurked for long. Historically,
the house system of astrology
was introduced to the people in Egypt in 70 AD approximately. Since then many
students of astrology have been working only for the detailed technique in the dividing system of twelve houses
but no one could give any logical explanation for the house itself. Addey has suggested his unique system of harmonics
in astrology and abandoned the houses by entering his new harmonics. According to Addey, the third harmonic will
give a mode of behavior of a sport man in enjoying his or her life. The fifth harmonic will give a mode of target of effort
that is suitable for the aptitude of aim of life. The seventh harmonic will give a mode of enjoyment in an ecstasy that
indicates an immediate success obtained. The eighth harmonic will give an adaptability of human with an environment.
The ninth harmonic will give a final success of human life. And so forth.

著作を発表する人物も現れたので、アディーも困惑したのかもしれません。
