ローレンツはコーヒーにミルクを加えてカオス・混沌（こんとん）状態を説明しました。冷めたコーヒーに多量のミルクを
混ぜれば、ミルクはすぐにコーヒーと混ざります。コーヒーが大変に熱い状態であり、ミルクが少量であれば
ミルクの流れは複雑に動いてなかなか混ざりません。コーヒーの熱による対流でミルクの流れが複雑に
動くのです。終局的には、ミルクはコーヒーと混ざりあうのですが途中の段階では複雑に変化をするのです。
ギリシャ時代から長い間、哲学者は究極のミルクが混ざった終局的で安定した状況に注目をして短期間
の不安定な状態を無視しましたが、ローレンツは混ざる途中の複雑な動きを重要に考えたのです。
LORENZ demonstrated CHAOS movement to the people with a cup of coffee. He puts a little milk
on the cup of coffee exhibited. If the amount of milk is ample enough and the temperature of
coffee is cool enough then the milk will mix with coffee soon. Small amount milk on hot coffee
will demonstrate the rolling trace of a white line of milk in the black coffee by indicating
the convection of hot coffee exhibited. Although the milk will mix up the coffee eventually
as the philosopher expected, LORENZ was much interested in the transiting phenomena
in action detailed.
多くの自然現象を研究してゆくうちに、変化の途中だけでなくて、終局的にも収集が出来ないような別の
状態になる現象が多数存在することが判明しました。たとえば、水を熱してゆくと沸騰して、液体が気体
という全く別な状態になってゆくのです。液体と気体を別なものとして理解していた古い考え方では理解
出来なかったものが、カオス（混沌）という新しい概念を取り入れることによって、液体から気体に変化
する状況を詳細に理解して予測をすることができるようになるのです。
In studying many events by a new sight of CHAOS physics, we have many problems solved
not only particular during the course of regular changes but also in the eventual status that
is not in the steady balanced status of old concept specified. For instance, water is boiled
to be vaporized at a certain temperature acquired. In the old concept, either the water or
the vapor must be the separate status of natural phenomena and they should be studied in each
separated status quo acquired. Thus the phase transitions found between two statuses of
liquid and vapor could not be studied properly in the old physics. With CHAOS physics, we
will soon be able to predict the detailed behavior during the phase transitions from liquid
to vapor in the natural atmosphere.
はるか遠方のブラジルの蝶が羽ばたけばテキサスを襲う嵐の進路が変わるか? というローレンツの素朴な
疑問が発展し1970年代になって新しいカオス物理学が始まったのですが、わずかな変化が大きな変化に
発展をする過程を追求しているカオス物理学の研究は今後も進むことでしょう。
天体の配置の変化が地球上
の金属にわずかな影響を与えて、
それが人間の脳の働きに影響をして、人間の行動に影響を及ぼしてゆく
過程が解明されれば、占星学の働きが科学で説明できるようになることを筆者は期待します。
A question of EDWARD N. LORENZ was a minor change produced by a wing of butterfly in the
remote place of Brazil that gives a major change in Texas in the course of Tornado incurred.
His simple question has build up a fun of sensation in the scientific field that new CHAOS
physics was commenced in 1970s. We will expect the further development of this new science
in coming era that is foreseen. And the author expects another influence of this new physics
to our astrology lurked. Thus a place of a heavenly body will produce a minor change in the
metal on earth and this change will produce some changes in human brain that may produce
the major change of human behavior at end destined.
一部の哲学者はカオスの不安定状況の重要性に注目していました。紀元前 300年ころの中国大陸に荘子
（そうし）という人がいました。荘子の書によると、昔あるところに、混沌王（こんとんおう）という大変に
親切な王様がいました。この王様には目、口、鼻、耳などがありませんでした。ある人が親切のお礼に王様
に目、口、耳、鼻などを付けてあげたら、混沌王（こんとんおう）はすぐに死んでしまったという話です。不安定で不完全な状態
が自然な状態であり、安定をした究極の状態は死ぬことであるという教えです。
There was a philosopher in China in the third century before the Christ that was called
ZHUANGZI, or Chuang Tzu (369BC-286BC). According to him, there was a king that
was named CHAOS-KING who had neither eyes, nor mouth, nor nose, nor ears equipped
on the face of king found. Some one had put these items on the face of king. The king
has died immediately after he found his face was equipped.
This fiction story has told us that
an incomplete status in nature will end in a complete status obtained by the death of living creature.
