占星学が学問であろうと、学問ではないにしても、占星学（星占い）は人間の歴史とともに存在しました。 将来の占星学発達に大きな期待を持ちながら、現状について、深く考えることも無駄なことではありません。 筆者が現在努力を集中している「占いでない占星学」のサイトの内容が分かりにくいという批判があります。 筆者の著書・占星学入門シリーズは占星学の実際についての解説書ですから、分かりやすいことを主眼にして 記述してあります。しかし、「占いでない占星学」のサイトは占い実務ではない、占星学そのものを深く考える ための記述ですから、一刀両断に結論を述べることはできません。両論を併記しながら、読者に考える時間を 与える記述のために、多少は分かりにくいのです。
Disregarding the status of human recognition on the astrology, the art of astrology has been alive with human from the ancient continued. With the future hopes that may beyond our present status quo, we will try to analyze the contents of human recognition on the natural phenomena including the sky bodies observed. This author has read a kind of criticisms on the popularity in the description of this particular site presented. As my books on the practice of the arts of astrology have been well accepted by the public people, you might expect the similar popularity on this particular site presented. I must admit a doubt on the popularity in the description of this site as this is a serious debate on existing opposed two kinds of discussion. You may read it and stand by still a moment to consider your choice.

さて、図は自然現象（天体を含む）がどのように人間に理解されてきたのかを考えるための図面です。古代には、 人々の理解はすべての事象が神の意思でした。現在でも、宗教家は万物が神（仏）の心のままであると教えます。 神または仏の心のままに生活できる幸福な人々を除いて、一般の大衆は迷える子羊として不安な生活を送っているのです。 古代ギリシャの人々はデモクラシーという大衆討議の形式を考えだしましたが、彼らが議論をしているときに、雷鳴が聞こえれば 議論が神の怒りに触れたものとして、デモクラシーの議論をやめました。十九世紀以降、自然科学が発達して雷は電気の 放電であるということが判明refしましたが、デモクラシーを議論する東京の国会議事堂に落雷があっても、人々は神の怒りを感じなく なりました。占星学は古代人が自然の天体の動きにメッセージを感じて、神の業としての予言を合理的に理解しようとして 研究を始めたものです。しかし、自然科学が進歩して、新しいカオス物理学refが研究されるようになっても、 人々は偶然の一致refであると称して、占星学の本質を研究しようとはしません。
The illustration above is the typical view in the human understanding on the natural phenomena. In the ancient era, people were satisfied with the acts of god on anything related to human on earth. In the religious field, in nowadays world, the leader of religion persuades people with the religious doctrine that anything in the world must be under the supreme WILL of god. A few lucky people will be satisfied with it and the rest of sheep in distress had been wandering around. In the Grecian age, people have discussed on a new idea of democracy. They have ceased the debate in hearing a thunderclap as they believed such sound has indicated the angered god. After the nineteenth century, people have learnt the fact that the thunder is the result of discharged electricity accumulated in the cloud.ref On the occasion of recent lightning damage in the building of the Diet in Tokyo, no one has felt the angered god in action. The art of astrology was studied as one of the prophesy of god in the ancient. Nowadays students are in the belief that the result of prediction by astrology must be one of the cases of accidental coincidence studied.ref In this new age of natural science where we have come to know the new CHAOS physics ref in action, we must learn the astrology newly from the depth.

占星学は「まやかし」であり、人々を騙す魔術であるという説を翻訳した本が出版されている一方で、 「当たる占い」の本が多数書店に並んでいます。しかし、「なぜ」という議論に興味を持つ人は小数です。 魔術師であれば、種明かしは禁止されていますが、占星学の研究者は魔術師ではありませんから、 種明かしをしようとして研究をしているのです。
Richard Dawkins wrote the criticism to the astrology in his recent book “Unweaving The Rainbow”. On the other hand, we see many meaningless books in the titles of favorite with the fortune telling arts. And yet, very few persons will be interested in the serious reason of prediction fit found in the art of astrology. No magician is authorized to disclose the secret in the magical art. Astrologers are not the magicians.
